A long tradition of quarrying stone
The idea behind The Swedish Limestone Company is to introduce rare Scandinavian stones to a new audience. A journey we have successfully undertaken at home and that sparked the idea to expand our horizon.
Our stones are carefully chosen from sustainable, environmentally conscious, and small-scale local quarries. Quarries that have been handed down over generations and whose stones have never before been available on the American market, or indeed outside of Northern Europe.
As ambassadors of Scandinavian quarries, our collective knowledge spans centuries and is accompanied by an astute appreciation of beauty. We want to bring you not just a product but a piece of our heritage, a fragment of the landscapes that is unique to Scandinavia.
